AON Workshop

Introduction

This workshop is designed to support organisations to ‘take stock’ of their organisation and identify ‘service gaps’. In particular, we have a focus on quality outcomes, and to ensure organisations have:

§         committed staff

§         clear objectives that meet service goals; and

§         the tools and resources to deliver those goals and support staff.

About Us

This workshop is delivered by Tiernan Quality Consulting (TQC) in collaboration with RosterCoster.com.

This collaboration brings together a long-standing working relationship in respect of service and tools development between Christine Tiernan of TQC and Damien Ryan-Green of RosterCoster.com. Christine and Damien have each spent more than twenty years working with people with disabilities in a wide range of roles including direct care, line management, project work, policy development and systems development.

The workshop is facilitated by Christine, who has the necessary knowledge-base in relation to service development and quality assurance, and is supported by Damien, who has been developing online resources and tools for DHS and CSOs for many years.

Our Method

  • To provide an interactive workshop that generates thoughts and ideas that will result in better practices, better access to information and better tools.
  • An overview by Christine of an organisation’s obligations (for example, relevant legislation and policy requirements)
  • An introduction to available tools and resources, and how organisations in the sector link into these
  • Towards best practice, exposure to sector-wide practices
  • A discussion on a best way forward: what does your organisation need, and what does it not need?
