Hi Helen
Whichever way you look at the timelines v the scope of even getting the core of this up and running by 31 March, it's necessarily going to be quite an intensive 5 weeks, both while we are at SMR, and offsite as well
I've drawn the best and most reasoanble balance I think I can muster, with words in there that note that there's bound to be certain things we can't anticipate, and that we'll find out during the 5 weeks, but that we and Theshia can no doubt work it out together and compromise wherever we all can to get this going, by hook or by crook.
The total quantum I've finally settled at $20,080, based on as good a look and feel I think I can get, in lieu of actually creating specifications - there is not time for that, our sessions live with Theshia "will" be the specifications, if we are to meet the timelines (this is achievavble, I think, because Theshia clearly knows what she is talking about, and how to get that across to us)
On the plus side, the risk in this (trying to estimate the scope quickly) is lightened considerably by the fact that
On our side, it's a short project, so if we mis-time the scope, it's not mis-timed for an extended period of time;
On your side, we'll be onsite, so Theshia will be working with us, in terms of having a feel for what we are doing (we think she'll be impressed buy at least a few of our methods, and how quickly some of her things will come to life in a much better and more modern way than the current system); and
Also on your side, you get to review quite soon (April), and then make a decision whether to continue to pursue beyond (we will be working hard to make sure the answer to that is an unequivocal "yes")
