Within the context of best practice rostering being all about outcomes, and as a consequence of this, being all about being expert in one's field, we are the industry benchmark for end to end rostering in human services, and in particular, disability services. Our team has been deeply integrated in best practice rostering in disability services and beyond since 1993, and we enjoy continued growth in this core area of our business.

We are human services professionals backed by software professionals, and not the other way around. As a result, our software is a direct, purpose-built response to coal-face human services needs, with which our team has been heavily integrated at all levels since the early 1980s.

We offer genuine 'best practice'. We are at human services coal face on a daily basis, and as such, we reflect real practices in real time. For us, 'best practice' is not just a heading that is all too easy to simply type at the top of an essentially local practice document.

We maintain, in real time, an online 'precedents' system, via which we have captured good ideas from previous projects to inform your project in a readily retrievable way. (Without such a system, the bulk of learning developed in the course of a given project is effectively lost at the conclusion of the project to everyone except the few people who were intimate with the project, and then, in an informal way.)

Our online product and project management software ('Document your Day') brings to your project a very high level of automation (automation maximises quality, consistency and retrievability, and minimises costs), from downloadable 'build-your-own' quotations through to online project planning and review, integrated with online contracting, invoicing and statements.

Our applications supply, hosting and development model has been tried, tested and evolved for more than a decade to meet, in an affordable, practical way, the requirements of a wide range of accommodation services both large (750+ locations) and small (< 10 locations).

We employ audits of our applications and other compliance tests (for example, two reviews of our contracting and systems by the State Government of Victoria in 2010, including one by Deloitte, and also, an application in 2011 for inclusion on the SGOV eServices Panel) as formal opportunities for us to continuously improve ourselves against a comprehensive set of compliance headings. Initiatives arising from or confirmed by these activities include:
(a) A comprehensive orientation and confidentiality pack for our staff and allies;
(b) A formal contracting, risk management and project management framework;
(c) A data security framework;
(d) An environmental sustainability framework;
(e) A customer service plan;
(f) A process underway to achieve quality management system certification; and, perhaps most importantly
(g) Excellence in online filing and retrieval systems via our 'Document your Day' online project management software.
