All fine in theory, but what processes can we put in place to ensure that our information is continuously

Doing something like this 'one-off' is fine, but is there a way our rostering can be made to automatically 'self maintain'?

Not fully.

However, you can put systems in place locally to prompt yourself when it's time to review your:
  • Costing tool software (each time there is an Award change, or some other change in work practices)
  • Best Practice Rosters (reviewed only when there is a change in client need)
  • Core Rosters (usually reviewed each June, and also each time there is a change in client need)
  • Posted Rosters (posted out before the start of a pay period)
  • Worked Rosters (best reviewed daily, and automatically by software, for example, via online rostering at RosterCoster.com)
  • Anything else in your local rostering process.
Alternatively, you can let this RRR website keep track of all this for you, and prompt you be email (and, if necessary, by a phone call prompt and offer of assistance from Kylie Hughes, who offers broad rostering support on an 'when needed' basis, as a safety net to ensuring you are always up to date at every step of the rostering process).
