About TrainTrack
TrainTrack is a generic tool that can be used by any industry that needs a simple system to, at the very least:

Log the roles in the organisation, and the people in them

Log the quals and competencies attached to each role

Log the quals and competencies attached to each person
-
Check the gaps between 2 and 3 above, and the actions you will take to eliminate those gaps
As regards actions you might take, standard drop down options include:

If the role is vacant, then succession planning and recruitment, orientation and training.

If there is someone in the role, and the gap is small, then typically, further training.
-
If there is someone in the role, and the gap is too large, then perhaps it's time to start negotiating an alternative role.
