How do I get hold of the tools I need to use the OHS Old System

How do I get hold of the tools I need to use the OHS Old System?

Just email Damien.Ryan@dhs.vic.gov.au and tell him what you need, i.e. the Manual Handling Tool and / or the OVRAMT.

Comment: Are you sure there isn't already a copy of these tools on your PC somewhere? We don't want more than one copy of each tool anywhere on your PC.

Damien will then email you a blank template for whichever tool/s you need. Important: when he does, don't open the files directly out of the email - this takes too long! Rather, save the file/s into a folder somewhere on c:\data. And then open them.

OK, I've opened a tool. What do I do now? Well, click here.

But why c drive, and not f drive or h drive? Because f and h drives are backed up each night, and c drive isn't!
  • f and h drives are much too slow, when used from the houses.
  • So, better to use c drive, and then back up your files to f and h drive every now and again (sepecially just after you have done a lot of work on the files).
  • And if you do end up losing your files, all may not be lost: click here.
